Christ, this deserves more comments.

I guess I'll start with colors? I love the warm colors. The warmth, passion, and excitement they portray makes the whole piece feel inviting, almost familiar (which, strangely, contrasts the way most other elements make me feel). The high intensity or the colors fuels the piece with energy. The ragged, random lines compliment the harshness (a good thing) of the colors but overall contrast the feelings the colors themselves evoke. The large amount of negative space, complimented nicely with subtle textures and details, does a good job of forcing you to look at the center..to the heart of the piece. Speaking of which, is it just me or is the entire thing heart-shaped? The way the woman's arm is twisted combined with the curved shape towards the right, and the way they both flow down towards a central point...i dunno, it comes off as a heart to me. Great touch putting the dark jagged lines where her hair is, it makes her look chaotic and peaceful at the same time (she looks like she's lying down and relaxed). The white lines/blobs (sorry for the lack of colorful vocabulary..its late) do a great job of breaking up space and making your eyes dance around the piece (the outline of her face is a cool detail. took me by surprise when i first picked it out). I also love the other details like depth of field effects and water bubbles thrown around. Makes the piece continually interesting to look at.

My biggest gripe is the over-use of green..it sticks out too strongly in places, especially by her arm and the bottom of the 'heart'. It looks fine in some places, like the edges of where the neg. space begins, but is a bit overpowering in others like i've mentioned.

Overall, a seriously stunning piece. I did a double take when I first saw it...it really took me by surprise. Amazing work. Really, it is.

Didn't quite expect a comment of that callibre, firstly, thanks for taking the time to do so. Secondly, agree with you on the green. The original before I did some post-modifying was nearly purely solid orange but it came off as far too monotone, may tweak it in the future. ^^

Ya, no problem. I don't comment on a lot of work, but when I do I try to be as specific and thorough as possible. I get tired of comments like 'good work,' 'bad colors,' 'not bad' and the like. They are too general and do nothing to help me improve or reflect on. Also, i like it when people pay attention to the little details i try to put in my work, and i figure others feel the same way. :/

Good point on the monotone..then again, its so small and almost unnoticeable that i think it'll be fine if left alone.
