the top ligthing make me love it

the bottom half could use some work though, just dosent seem to be as detailed as the superb top

Love it, and while certain aspects of it do need some more attention, in my opinion the stars are absolutely fine - what needs changing is the fact that the LARGE asteroids have somehow become hidden behind the planet - scale-wise it's a complete distortion that makes it look weird - and the nebulae brushing looks unfinished, I can still see brushstrokes! If you have the neb on a seperate layer underneath the stars I seriously recommend you try blending certain areas of it in better, most notably the area to the lower left of the planet and to the right.

Great piece apart from those two issues! And, as tnd said to me recently, it's quite easy for an artist to dislike his own work, even when others like it.
